Which version of Delphi is this?

The DeBug Team wants to focus its attention on the latest versions of Delphi. At the latest update of this document (12 July 1998), the latest version is Delphi 4.0.
Beside that version, we also accept bug reports concerning Delphi 1.02 (because that must be used when developing for the Win16 platform) and, if the bug is important enough, we also accept bug reports in Delphi 3.02 and 2.01.
When submitting your bug report, please indicate which Delphi version you're referring to!
Because Borland is not very clear about the versions (the box, the CD-ROM and the About Box only give the first decimal of the version number), sometimes confusion arises about which version someone is using. To help determining your version, you can use the information below.

Versions of Delphi:

Known as About Box: File time stamps (VCL sources and most of the rest as well)
Delphi 1.02 Copyright 1983-95.
Typing Alt-Version in the About Box gives: 1.47.136.0		 24 Aug 95; 8:02 AM
Delphi 2.01 Version 2.0
Typing Alt-Version in the About Box gives: 2.17.76.0		 11 Jun 96 2:01 AM(?)
Delphi 3.0 build 5.53 ? probably around Feb 97; 3:00 AM?
Delphi 3.01 build 5.83 5 Aug 97 3:01 AM.
In the Delphi 3\Bin directory, dcldb30.dpl, dclmid30.dpl, scktsrvr.exe and tlibimp.exe have times of 5 Aug 97 3:01 AM
Delphi 3.02 build 5.83 5 Aug 97 3:01 AM.
